Vaagdhara organizes Child Rights Awareness Campaign on Children’s Day
Vaagdhara is hosting a week-long event that will serve to raise awareness regarding child rights by conducting ‘Bal Gram Sabhas’ across various blocks of Banswara, from November 14-November 20, 2016. A number of activities are being organized under this campaign, which intend to bring forth the difficulties faced by children in these areas.
Speaking about the campaign, Childline coordinator Pramod Pandya told that on November 14, gram sabhas will be conducted, followed by meetings and discussions among Child Rights club to be held in 55 schools under the coordination of Child Rights Department on November 15.
Other activities include painting competition on the 16th of November for the children of Kishore Grah, and on the 17th of November, an exhibition will be organized at the Gandhi Murti Chouraha, highlight of which will be child protection and development.
Also, on November 18, child rally will pass through various villages of Kushalgarh block, and an awareness program will be conducted on November 19 for various villages of Anandpuri block, where they will be given informed regarding health education, and nutrition.
Marking the end of the event, a special program will be organized on November 20, for all children of Banswara district.
Vaagdhara aims for the welfare of children in Tribal regions of Southern Rajasthan, by bringing forward the continuing issues related to child health, education and child labor, and ways to overcome them and get the child his real rights.
