Vaagdhara organized its cultural event on Friday, which involved participation from people around the region, along with special guests from Germany. It started with a number of cultural events including interactive skits focused on child rights awareness, their education, and betterment.

Present on the occasion were Chief Guests - Philip D'souza and Heinrich from Germany, and Sikander Pareek of Rajasthan Patrika, Banswara. Secretary of VAAGDHARA, Shri Jayesh Joshi, delivered the keynote address at the event, shedding light on the pressing social issues impacting the tribal communities of Banswara and surrounding regions.

“Since inception, VAAGDHARA has been making every effort for the upliftment of tribals through policy advocacy, realization of child rights, women empowerment, livelihood enhancements, and more,” Jayesh said.

Various rural sports competitions like Kabaddi, Rassa kassi (tug-of-war), Matki-Phod, were held at the event; winners of which were declared by the organization the same day. Also, on this occasion, appreciation awards were distributed to honor the effective work various organizations, and individuals have done in the past one year. The half-yearly review exercise for the activities undertaken by the organizations, and their progress, was carried out by the community advisory group on the day of the event.

VAAGDHARA is deeply grateful to the officers of Social Justice and Empowerment department, Dilip Rokadia, Neeraj Kumar, and Om Parkash Arya, for having graced the occasion with their benign presence.
