Soil and water are the precious gifts of nature. Soil and water play a vital role in food production, healthy ecosystems and human well-being. The Krishi evam Aadivasi Swaraj Sangthan have celebrated World Soil Day with the aim of creating social awareness on soil and water conservation in the community of 1041 villages located at the confluence of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. In which the community was inspired for soil conservation by organizing awareness rallies, attractive rangoli made from local seeds and soil, worship and aarti of soil, and dialogue on the importance of soil and measures for its conservation. On this occasion, the community took a pledge not to use poisonous chemical fertilizers and pesticides in their fields and to plant saplings on the ridges of their fields.

मिट्टी और पानी प्रकृति के अनमोल उपहार है. खाद्य उत्पादन, पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र और मानव कल्याण के लिए मिट्टी और पानी बहुत बड़ी भूमिका है. राजस्थान, मध्य प्रदेश और गुजरात के संगम पर स्थित 1041 गाँवो के समुदाय में मृदा और पानी के संरक्षण के प्रति जनजागरूकता लाने के उद्देश्य से कृषि एवं आदिवासी स्वराज संगठन के नेतृत्व में विश्व मृदा दिवस का आयोजन किया गया. जिसमे समुदाय द्वारा प्रभात फैरी, जागरूकता रैली, स्थानीय बीज और मिट्टी से आकर्षक रंगोली, मिट्टी पूजन और आरती, मिट्टी के महत्त्व और संरक्षण के उपायों पर संवाद सभाओ का आयोजन कर समुदाय को मृदा संरक्षण के लिए प्रेरित किया. इस अवसर पर समुदाय ने अपने खेतो में जहरीले रासायनिक उर्वरको और कीटनाशकों का प्रयोग नहीं करने और खेत की मेढ़ पर पौधारोपण का संकल्प लिया गया।
