The concept of True Childhood (सच्चा बचपन) focuses on ensuring the rights of children by promoting and nurturing vibrant community-based institutions like Bal Panchayat and Village development child rights committees.

VAAGDHARA favours a circular economic approach in the farming system. Participatory learning and action (PLA) for sustainable development of natural resources like land, soil, water, vegetation and livestock.
